After several months behind closed gates, Wild Wadi Waterpark is ready for visitors again. The park reopens on Sunday, November 1, with its full set of rides and a few new things to eat. Dubai Media Office shared the news, and it’s described as Dubai’s original waterpark.
The Rides Haven’t Gone Anywhere
Wild Wadi has been running on Jumeirah’s coast since 1999, and it still has 30 rides and attractions, with the Burj Al Arab in the background.
Jumeirah Sceirah is the one that gets the screams, dropping riders from a height of 32 metres. Tantrum Alley is the twistier option. Burj Surj is the family-friendly pick, which works well if you have smaller swimmers with you.
Tickets and Timings
UAE residents can get in from AED 149. Discounted tickets are also on sale in advance for anyone who wants to be among the first back through the gates, though the announcement doesn’t say how much cheaper they are. Prices for non-residents weren’t shared, so check wildwadi.com before you book.
The park will be open from 10 am to 6.30 pm, seven days a week. Weekends will come with live entertainment and family activities. If you’re going on a weekend, arriving at opening time is smart, since weekends usually mean a livelier crowd.
Where to Eat Between Slides
Surf & Tacos is the newest addition. It’s a Mexican spot that joins the existing food lineup. Surfer’s Burgers and Firecrust Pizza cover the classic post-slide cravings, and Wave View CafĂ© rounds out the sit-down options. If you’d rather keep it simple, Dhow & Lagoon Kitchen serves shawarmas and salads.
Making a Day of It
The park is open for roughly eight and a half hours, so you have room to pace yourself. One easy plan is to head to Jumeirah Sceirah early, while queues are likely to be shorter. Then take a lunch break at Surf & Tacos or one of the other counters.
Families with younger children can build the afternoon around Burj Surj and save the bigger drops for the grown-ups.
What’s Coming Up
The park has special celebrations and offers planned for the coming months, including around World Children’s Week and Movember. No dates or details have been shared yet, so keep an eye on its official channels as those times get closer.
Plan Your Visit
Wild Wadi Waterpark is at Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Umm Suqeim 3, facing the Burj Al Arab. You can book and find more details on wildwadi.com, or call 04 348 4444. Buying in advance is how you get the discounted rates.
A few simple tips can help. Bring a change of clothes, sunscreen, and a towel, and keep your valuables to a minimum. Go early if you want shorter lines for the big rides.
Wild Wadi is back on November 1 with 30 rides, a new taco counter, and tickets from AED149 for UAE residents. Check the website for non-resident pricing and current offers, book ahead for the discount and get there early for the best chance at short queues.
