Dubai will witness three new bus routes from Friday, 29th November, which includes Route 108 that connects Satwa Bus Station to Global Village, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) revealed yesterday (Tuesday) on 26th November 2024.
Route 108 will run only on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, public holidays and special events only. This service operates from 14:00 to 01:00 the following day with 11 trip sets per direction per day with a sixty minutes headway.
There are two new routes other than Route F63 which are Route J05. Route F63 is a feeder service of Dubai Metro that will run along Al Ras Metro Station to Union Bus Station via Al Khaleej Street and Naif Street. On the other hand, Route J05 will be a link between Mira Community and Dubai Studio City and pass through Neshama Townhouses.
On the same day, November 29, RTA will simplify certain bus routes to improve peoples’ daily trips to various destinations making their journey more comfortable. New Route 5 will run in both directions between Abu Hail Bus Station and Union Bus Station and will no longer pass through Al Ras Metro Station. Similarly, Service no: 14 will be modified to work in two directions and will last up to Business Bay Metro Station. Route 33 will be further truncated to Karama Bus Station from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station.
Consequently, Route 91 will be modified to pass through the Business Bay in the direction of the Jebel Ali Bus Station and the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) stop will also be added to the route in both directions.

The current route J02 will be slightly adjusted to provide faster travel between the Arabian Ranches and Dubai Production City. Likewise, Route J04 will also be changed to include Sports City and less stops in Dubai Studio City.
Route F38 will be adjusted to serve Al Jurf Heights Group. Route F39 will be adjusted to include Etihad Mall. Route X92 will be modified to serve DMCC Metro Stop en route to Al Ghubaiba Bus Station and reduce stops at Dubai Investment Park.
To accomodate the needs of Al Jurf Heights Group, Route F38 will be modified accordingly. The F39 route will be rerouted to incorporate the Etihad Mall. The change in the existing route X92 will include picking up passengers from DMCC Metro Stop on the way to Al Ghubaiba Bus Station and limiting the number of stops at Dubai Investment Park.
RTA will undertake improvements on 30 bus routes, namely: Specifically, new bus-stop codes that can fit the arrival convenient include 7, 13D, 14, 20A, 21A, 21B, 30, 32C, 33, 34, 43, 44, 63E, 67, 91, DH1, E700, F05, F07, F26, F23, F38, F39, F54, F63, J01, J02, J04, J05, and X92 to better align with the arrival times.
New routes launched and modifications made are more a clear testimony that RTA is ever plus productive but in its efforts to offer efficient and readily available public transport. The concentration of extending roads to some of the extra developments like Global Village, Mira Community, and Dubai Studio City makes it easier for people to travel.
