Dubai Municipality has opened a new 102-metre bridge at Mushrif National Park, giving mountain bikers and hikers a safer way to move through one of Dubai’s most popular outdoor destinations. The new structure connects sections of the park’s existing trail network.
The bridge is designed to create a smoother journey for visitors while removing the need for mountain bikers to cross a road used by vehicles. This makes the trail experience more continuous and reduces the interaction between cyclists, pedestrians, and road traffic.
The new facility has two dedicated lanes. One is reserved for mountain bikers, while the other is designed specifically for hikers, helping visitors move through the area in a more organised and comfortable way.
Bridge Creates a Continuous Mountain Biking Route
One of the main benefits of the new bridge is that it joins two previously separated sections of the mountain biking trail. Riders can now continue their route without stopping to cross a vehicle road.
