Dubai wants its visitors to keep coming back, and it has now created a special club to make that happen. On November 1, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, announced a new programme called Dubai Access Club. It is being described as the world’s first citywide tourism loyalty programme.
What Is Dubai Access Club?
It is an invite-only membership for repeat visitors. People who get an invitation can enjoy special experiences, personal services and extra benefits around the city. The idea is simple. If you visit Dubai again and again, the city wants to reward you for it.
Sheikh Hamdan also announced that tourists will be able to apply for visit visas through the official Visit Dubai website, which should make planning a trip easier.
What Do Members Get?
The package has a few clear benefits, and they are easy to compare in one place.
| Benefit | Details |
|---|---|
| Visa | Five year multiple entry visa |
| Length of stay | Up to 90 days at a time, within a one year period |
| SIM card | Free du SIM card |
| Spending credit | Dh2,000, usable at selected hotels, attractions and shops |
| Extras | Special experiences and personal services |
The credit works across a chosen list of hotels, attractions and retail outlets in Dubai. So members can use it on stays, days out or shopping. Dubai says these perks are meant to build a stronger bond with travellers after their first trip.
Why Is Dubai Doing This?
Tourism is a major pillar of the economy, and the city has big goals. Sheikh Hamdan said the aim is to place Dubai among the top three tourism destinations in the world, for both business and leisure. He also spoke about using technology, new ideas, and teamwork between the public and private sectors to bring in more investment and open up more opportunities. All of this ties into the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33.
In his words, the city wants to be the first choice for travellers and a global example of quality and convenience.
Hotels Are Getting More Accessible Too
The same week brought another useful update. The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism shared results of a review by the Dubai Digital Authority on how easy hotel websites are for people with different needs. The score for the hotels checked went up from 83 per cent in 2024 to 90 per cent in 2026.
Shaikha Ebrahim Al Mutawa, Director of Hospitality Affairs at the department, said every hotel in Dubai is equipped to host People of Determination. She added that the 90 per cent score shows real progress in digital channels. The department will keep helping hotels act on the review’s advice, so the experience feels welcoming from the first step of planning a trip.
What This Means for Travellers
For frequent visitors, the club could be a big upgrade. A five-year visa removes the need to apply again and again, and the 90-day stay limit gives plenty of time for work or holidays. The free SIM and Dh2,000 credit add real value on top.
It is worth remembering that the club is by invitation only. At this stage, there is no public detail on how invitations will be sent, so anyone interested should watch official announcements.
Plan Your Next Trip
If a trip to the city is already on your mind, a little planning goes a long way. The cooler months are a lovely time to visit, and many people are already checking the season’s weather outlook. Visitors who enjoy the outdoors might also like a night under the desert sky. Here is a guide on how to spot the Witch Head nebula from the UAE tonight, which is a fun idea for anyone who loves stargazing.
Dubai Access Club shows how seriously the city treats its returning guests. With a long visa, spending credit, and special perks, it gives travellers one more reason to say yes to another visit.
