The new season follows the attraction’s 30th anniversary celebrations, which brought together cultures, food, shopping, and entertainment from around the world. Organisers have also promised new additions and fresh ways for visitors to experience the park this time around.

Global Village will officially open for its 31st season on October 14, 2026. The attraction will run through its usual seasonal calendar before closing for summer in May.

What Happened During Global Village Season 30?
Season 30 was a big milestone for Global Village, marking three decades since the attraction first launched. The season featured 30 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, giving visitors the chance to explore different traditions, products and cuisines all in one place.
The attraction also packed in more than 3,500 shopping outlets and up to 200 rides and games. These spaces helped make Global Village more than just a cultural attraction, entertaining visitors of pretty much every age.
Several new attractions were introduced during Season 30 as well, and some are expected to return as the park kicks off its next chapter with Season 31.
Gardens of the World
One of the additions from Season 30 was Gardens of the World, a landscaped area stretching from the Egypt pavilion toward the China pavilion. This space added another visual and outdoor experience to the already sprawling entertainment destination.
The attraction gave visitors a chance to explore a more relaxed setting while moving between different parts of the park, with its location also helping connect some of the cultural areas within Global Village.
Dragon Kingdom Brings Interactive Entertainment
Another major Season 30 addition was Dragon Kingdom, an interactive walk-through attraction featuring 11 themed rooms. It was built to give visitors something beyond the usual rides and performances.

The Little Wonderers at Carnaval

Main Stage and Fiesta Street Expanded
Global Village also made changes to some of its existing spaces during its 30th season. The Main Stage was expanded, while Fiesta Street was extended to create more room for both visitors and entertainment.
The former Railway Market was also reworked into the Dessert District, adding a dedicated food experience to the attraction and giving visitors more chances to explore sweet treats while wandering through the park.
Global Village Dubai’s Journey Since 1997
Global Village first launched in 1997, though the attraction looked pretty different in its early days. It started out as a modest collection of kiosks along Dubai Creek, built around a simple idea of bringing different cultures together in one spot.
Visitors could sample international food, handicrafts, and small performances all in one place. Over the years, the concept grew much bigger and eventually moved away from its original temporary location along the Creek.
Global Village later settled into its permanent home near Exit 37 on Sheikh Zayed Road, where it grew into one of Dubai’s best-known seasonal attractions.

Global Village Dubai Ticket Prices
Based on the ticket information available, Global Village tickets typically cost Dh25 from Sunday to Thursday and Dh30 on Friday and Saturday.
Entry is free for children under three years old, people aged 65 and above, and people of determination. These groups can visit without paying the standard entry fee.
Tuesdays are reserved for ladies and families, except when a Tuesday falls on a public holiday. Visitors should check the latest official information before planning their visit, since ticket prices, access rules and special-day policies can shift from one season to the next.
