In a significant move that restructures the UAE’s federal government, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has been appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence. The announcement, made on July 14, 2024, by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, marks a new chapter for both Sheikh Hamdan and the nation’s leadership.

Additionally, the Council for Education and Human Resources has been expanded to include the Ministry of Community Development, suggesting a more holistic approach to these crucial sectors.
