A new album, a new chapter, and a world tour that starts right here. Prateek Kuhad is returning to Dubai for the opening night of his global Full Moon Chamber Tour, and the show takes place at Dubai Opera.
If you’ve ever played one of his songs on repeat at 2 am, this is the kind of night you’ll want to be at.
About Full Moon Chamber
Full Moon Chamber is Kuhad’s third studio album, written and recorded between New York and Los Angeles. According to the event listing, its songs explore love, identity, and emotional change and show a deeply personal side of his music.
Now those songs move from the studio to the stage, and Dubai gets to hear them first. It’s the very first night of the tour, so the energy in the room could be special.
A Quick Look at His Journey
The listing also recaps his rise. A pair of early EPs put him on the map, followed by his 2017 debut album, In Tokens and Charms, which won iTunes’ Indie Album of the Year. In 2018, his EP “cold/mess” debuted at number one on Spotify India.
In 2020, “Kasoor” became, as the listing puts it, the first independently released track in India to reach number one on Apple Music’s all-genre chart. His 2022 album The Way That Lovers Do brought fresh attention too, and “Co2” is now his most streamed song on Spotify.
Rules to Know Before You Go
Dubai Opera has clear rules, and a few of them could stop you from getting in, so read these carefully.
Late entry: Latecomers won’t be allowed into the auditorium once the performance has begun. If you’re turned away for arriving late, there’s no refund. The venue suggests arriving at least 30 minutes before the show starts.
Age limits: Children under 10 are not allowed in the main auditorium. Anyone from 10 years up needs a ticket, and anyone under 18 must be with an adult aged 18 or over.
Dress code: Dubai Opera asks guests to avoid overly casual or provocative clothes, such as shorts or flip-flops. Guests who don’t follow the dress code may not be allowed in.
Phones and recording: Phones must be switched off or silenced once the show begins. Photos, video and audio recording are not allowed inside the auditorium.
Food and drink: Outside food and drinks are not allowed on the premises, and eating or drinking inside the auditorium is prohibited.
Tickets: You’ll need to show your ticket, on paper or on your phone. Tickets can’t be resold, and refunds or exchanges are not offered for changes in personal plans. The venue may also search bags for prohibited items.
How to Get There
By car: From Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), take the exit toward Financial Center Road and follow signs for Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai. Keep right and join Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, then continue straight until Dubai Opera is on your right.
By Metro: Take the Red Line to Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Station. From there it’s about a 10 minute walk, or a short taxi ride.
By taxi: Taxis can take you there from anywhere in Dubai. From downtown, the ride usually takes 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
Tips for the Night
Leave early. Downtown gets busy on event nights, and missing the start of the show is the last thing you want, especially since late entry isn’t guaranteed. Pick an outfit that looks smart but feels comfortable, and charge your phone before you leave, since you’ll need it for your ticket.
Prateek Kuhad starting a global tour in Dubai is a big moment for music fans in the city. Arrive early, follow the dress code, and keep your phone away during the show. Check the official ticketing page for the date, time, and prices before you make plans.
