  2. In a large pot, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger, and cook until softened.
  3. Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, black peppercorns, cloves, and bay leaves. Cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  4. Add the goat trotters and water to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 2-3 hours, or until the trotters are tender and falling off the bone.
