Visa on arrival facility to visit other cities including Dubai in the United Arab Emirates will be available to those Indian citizens who have a valid permanent resident card or visa from the United States of America (USA), United Kingdom (UK) or any European Union (EU) country.

  • A valid visa or resident permit issued by any European Union country or the United Kingdom.
  • Passport should be valid for at least six months.

Such citizens will be able to avail the visa-on-arrival facility for 14 days, which can be extended for the same period if needed. According to the UAE law, on paying the prescribed fee, a 60-day visa will be given, which cannot be extended.

At present, Indian citizens get visa-free or visa-on-arrival facility for traveling to 57 countries. Apart from Japan, South Korea, UAE, Indian citizens get visa-on-arrival facility in Fiji, Indonesia, Iran, Jamaica, Jordan, Nigeria and Qatar. Apart from this, you can travel visa-free to countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Nepal, Bhutan, Dominica, Serbia, Albania, Jamaica, Cambodia, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Madagascar, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Tunisia.
