The Indian cricket team performed brilliantly and defeated Bangladesh by 6 wickets in their very first match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. After winning the toss, Bangladesh team decided to bat first. The team had a bad start but due to the century partnership of Tauhid Hridoy and Zakir Ali, they scored 228 runs.

From India’s side, Mohammad Shami took 5 wickets and marked his debut in the Champions Trophy. In response, Indian cricket team got a strong start from captain Rohit.
