IIM Ahmedabad International Campus: The visit of Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Education Minister, to the UAE on September 10-11, 2025, aims to enhance educational relationships. He is set to open the new IIM Ahmedabad campus in Dubai and also the first global Atal Incubation Center at IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi. Moreover, he will meet with the Indian community, will participate in a roundtable with Indian universities, and will discuss bilateral cooperation with his counterpart in the UAE.

IIM Ahmedabad: Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan is considering paying a visit to the United Arab Emirates between September 10 and 11, 2025, to enhance the educational cooperation between the two nations. The goals of the visit will be to promote academic excellence, foster creativity, and seek new forms of collaboration that can empower the youth of both countries.
Pradhan will open the first-of-its-kind in the world Atal Incubation Centre in the IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi Campus on September 10. Also, he will interface with teachers and students and officially launch the PhD and B.Tech programs on the campus. The project shows that India is committed to the creation of an innovative and entrepreneurial culture and also to expanding its world-ranking educational establishments across the globe.

On September 11, the minister will inaugurate the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) campus in Dubai together with his counterpart, the UAE Minister of Higher Education H.E. Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar. This historic occasion is the growing educational connection between India and the United Arab Emirates by providing students in the region with access to high-quality management education.

The establishment of IIMA and IIT Delhi campuses in the United Arab Emirates shows that both countries share a similar objective to develop learning institutions that will support both local and foreign students and enhance bilateral relations through the sharing of information and joint ventures. The visit is indicative of the increasing strategic involvement between India and the United Arab Emirates, with education being one of the key tenets of the relationship.
