The Roads and Transport Authority has redesigned the Dubai student nol card, and has made it a full-service travel and lifestyle card that provides discounted transportation fees as well as access to exclusive discounts worldwide.

New Benefits for Students
The nol student card, which traditionally offered a 50 percent discount on the fares of public transport fares, now offers more than just travel purposes. As a result of the RTA collaboration with the International Student Identity Card (ISIC) Association, students can access:
- Shopping, dining, flights, and accommodation at up to 70% discount in more than 130 different countries.
- The use of nol cards to pay for money at school canteens helps parents to easily handle daily provisions and school trips.
- International recognition as a global student identity card, doubling as an enrolment certificate globally.
In addition to affordable travel, we are making the students to access thousands of global offers, besides streamlining day-to-day payments, including school meals, added Salah Al Deen Al Marzooqi, Director of the Automated Collection System (ACS) Department at the RTA.
Eligibility
The student nol card is a card that can be used by students between the ages of 6 years and years who have enrolled to study at any schools, colleges, and universities in the UAE.
Requirements
Applicants are to compile the following preparations:
- Letter of enrolment or enrolment certificate
- A recent white background photograph
- A legal Emirates passport

How to Apply for the Student Nol Card
It is easy and entirely digital to apply via the nol Pay app:
- To use nol Pay, download the app and log in with your UAE Pass.
- Tap the ‘+’ icon and choose Apply to have a personalized nol card.
- Provide your information (pulled automatically through UAE Pass).
- Submit a recent picture
- Select the student as the customer type, choose Gold or Silver class, and select a design.
- Mark your shipment location and make your delivery application.
- You will be issued a reference number to monitor the status of your card.
Delivery normally takes three working days.

- Silver personalised nol card: Dh70 (Dh50 application fee + Dh20 nol card credit)
