Emaar announced that the famous Dubai Fountain will be closed for five months. The upgrade process of the world’s biggest fountain requires extensive work that spans most of this year.
Visitors can admire the Dubai Fountain performances which happen every 30 minutes during evening hours in front of the Burj Khalifa and can be viewed from Dubai Mall.
According to property developer guidelines the fountain shows at the iconic Dubai Fountain will cease operations from May before a possible reopening in October.
Regular performances will use advanced technology together with enhanced choreography followed by advanced sound and lighting system might be the changes coming in this renovation process.
Under existing conditions Burj Lake shows utilize 22,000 gallons of sprouts reaching heights up to 140m above their peak marking each burst with audiovisual entertainment.
The show uses three prominent songs in its performances: Thriller by Michael Jackson, Time to Say Goodbye by Andrea Bocelli with Sarah Brightman and Power by K-pop band EXO.
The Downtown Dubai center was animated for many years by Dubai Fountain that mesmerized global visitors through its unified musical dances and water shows with bright lights.
