Dubai Municipality has activated the emergency evacuation system for people living on Al Mamzar Beach. An emergency evacuation system for people with determination activated by Dubai Municipality is in place at Al Mamzar Beach.
The system has special “range speakers” to guide visually impaired persons to evacuation points and provides vibrations to alert hearing impaired persons about emergency situations. These measures ensure that everyone is informed and assisted during an emergency.
It includes equipment installed on lifeguard towers on the beach, with clear warning lights and evacuation messages for all beach-goers. Devices have been installed at lifeguard towers maintains clear warning signals and evacuation alerts for every beach user.
The Municipality produced an advanced directional system at its center for people of determination that serves users with hearing and visual challenges. Strategic sensors throughout this device alert users about their current position inside the center while the tracking functionality helps identify their emergency location.
