Pakistan has witnessed a surge in foreign tourists in recent years, with the UAE and Saudi Arabia emerging as key source markets. To capitalize on this trend, the government has been investing in improving tourist infrastructure and promoting the country’s diverse attractions.

Strong Ties Between Pakistan and the UAE

The UAE and Pakistan share deep-rooted cultural and economic ties. A large Pakistani diaspora resides in the UAE, contributing significantly to the country’s workforce. The new visa policy is expected to further strengthen the bonds between the two nations and facilitate increased people-to-people contact.

The UAE is also a major source of tourists for Pakistan. With the introduction of visa-on-arrival, it is anticipated that the number of UAE residents visiting Pakistan will increase substantially.
