Dubai Fitness Challenge is back, and November looks busy. You can ride a bike past the Burj Khalifa, paddle on a calm dam, run through the city, or just sit back and watch top athletes compete. Some events are free, and some are premium, so there is something for most budgets. Here are eight worth putting in your calendar.
Dubai Fitness Challenge Events
1. Dubai Ride
This is the easiest way to start. Dubai Ride has two routes. The relaxed one is 4km through Downtown Dubai, passing the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and Dubai Opera. The tougher one is 12km along Sheikh Zayed Road. Past editions drew more than 35,000 cyclists, so expect a big, happy crowd. It takes place on November 1, and there is no entry fee.
2. Deadly Dozen Dubai
If you like a hard challenge, this one will test you. You run 400 metres, then do a strength task like a carry, lift, lunge, or crawl, and you repeat that 12 times. It starts at Dubai Police Officers Club in Al Jaddaf on November 7. You must be 18 or older, and you can join solo, in doubles, or in a relay team. Entry starts at AED 385.61. Spectators can enjoy the vendor village and recovery zones.
3. Dubai Stand Up Paddle
Now for something calm. The fourth edition of this event happens at Hatta Dam on November 7 and 8, with mountain views all around. You can try guided paddleboarding, group challenges, sunset yoga on a board, or kayaking alone or in pairs. Certified coaches will be there, and beginners are welcome. Entry is free.
4. Plus500 City Half Marathon 2026
This is the eighth edition, and it suits every kind of runner. You can pick 21km, 15km, 10km or 5km. It starts at the Gate Building in DIFC on November 8, and entry begins at AED 157.5. Because the date matches the big festival day, you may want to check where to celebrate Diwali in Dubai, from free festivals to fancy brunches, and plan your evening after the race.
5. PFL MMA: Nemkov vs Bilostenniy
Fight fans, this is your night. PFL heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov faces Russian knockout specialist Sergei Bilostenniy with the world title on the line. It happens at Coca-Cola Arena on November 14, and tickets start at AED 195.
6. Emaar Dubai Premier Padel P1
Padel has become hugely popular in the city, and this event shows why. Top male and female players compete from November 8 to 15 at Hamdan Sports Complex. Last year’s list included names like Juan Lebron, Ale Galan, Arturo Coello, Ari Sanchez, and Agustin Tapia. The qualifying rounds on November 9 and 10 are free to watch. Other days are priced by seat type, starting at AED 45.
7. DP World Tour Championship
Golf fans can watch the best players in the world at Jumeirah Golf Estates from November 12 to 15. The top 50 golfers in the Race to Dubai Rankings play on the Earth Course for the title and the Race to Dubai crown. There is also live music, golf clinics, and activities for young kids, so it works for families. Tickets start at AED 55.
8. Dubai T100 Triathlon
This is the biggest test on the list. The T100 Triathlon World Tour runs from November 13 to 15 at Al Mamzar, with the Dubai skyline in the background. Athletes start with an ocean swim, cycle at Al Mamzar, and finish with a run. You can pick the 100km Triathlon, with a 2km swim, 80km bike and 18km run, or the shorter Olympic Race, with a 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10km run. Entry starts at AED 1,074. Spectators can enjoy live music, food, and a festival feel near the finish line.
Plan Your Month
Pick based on your energy and your budget. If you are new to fitness, Dubai Ride and the paddle weekend cost nothing and feel friendly. If you enjoy racing, the half marathon and Deadly Dozen give you a goal to train for. If you prefer to watch, padel, golf, and MMA offer top-level sport.
Remember that some days will have more than one event. The weekend of November 7 and 8 is especially full, so plan your travel time.
Families might also want a cooler break after all that activity. Wild Wadi Waterpark reopens on November 1, the same day as Dubai Ride, and you can check its timings and ticket prices before you go.
However you choose to take part, November is a good time to get outside, try something new, and enjoy Dubai on the move.
