Oktoberfest may be closely associated with Munich, but Abu Dhabi is bringing its own Bavarian celebrations to the capital this autumn. Hotels, restaurants, beach venues, and even a golf range are preparing special events with German food, live music, and themed drinks.
From pork knuckle and schnitzels to pretzels, sausages, and steins, there will be plenty of traditional flavours to explore. Some venues are also adding DJs, live bands, outdoor seating, and activities to create a festive atmosphere.

1. Belgian Beer Café, Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate
Belgian Beer Café at Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate is going Bavarian for more than two weeks. From October 10 to 26, the venue will offer an Oktoberfest-inspired menu featuring hearty German dishes throughout the celebration.
On weekdays, guests can order from a dedicated à la carte menu. During weekends, the experience changes to a cart-style buffet with live cooking stations and a hops bar, giving diners a wider selection of Bavarian-style food.
The weekend entertainment will include German DJ Sabrina Terence, who will perform from 7pm to 11pm. Packages start at AED 99 for a single plate, while the full buffet costs AED 149.

2. Yas Plaza Hotels
For a larger outdoor celebration, Yas Plaza Hotels is hosting what it describes as the biggest Oktoberfest celebration on Yas Island. The three-night event will take place at Central Plaza by Stills from October 22 to 24.
The celebration will feature long communal tables set up under the open sky, along with German food, beverages, and live music. Performances from Downtown Stage will add to the atmosphere during the evening.
Entry costs AED 200 per person, and the full amount is redeemable on food and beverages. The event runs from 6:30pm to 11:30pm, making it an evening-focused Oktoberfest experience.
Families can also attend, with children under six entering free. Advance booking is recommended for the three-night celebration.

3. The Range, Abu Dhabi Golf Club
Oktoberfest takes an unusual turn at The Range, Abu Dhabi Golf Club, where German food and beverages are being combined with a golf experience. The family-friendly event gives guests a chance to enjoy Bavarian-inspired food while taking part in golf activities.
Visitors can use TrackMan bays and compete in challenges including Longest Drive and Bullseye competitions. This makes the event different from a traditional restaurant-based Oktoberfest celebration.
There are three packages available. The Bavarian Birdie costs AED 185 and includes a bucket of balls, an Oktoberfest sharing platter, and two beverages.
The Schnapps & Swing package costs AED 189 and includes two buckets, two shooters and two litres of beverages. The Hole-In-One Feast costs AED 349 and includes two buckets, a German sausage platter and two litres of beverages.

4. The Club Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat
At The Club Abu Dhabi, the Main Hall will be transformed into a Bavarian-style gathering space with long communal tables, traditional German dishes, and live brass music.
The Bavarian Camels will provide live entertainment during the celebration. The package costs AED 280 per person per night and includes free-flow selected German beverages, refreshments, and traditional German food.
The Main Hall event is for guests aged 21 and above, while a guest dining fee also applies. Reservations can be made through the venue’s main reception.
There is also a daytime option for those who prefer brunch. The Bavarian Brunch at Three 60 will take place on October 24 from noon to 4pm, with packages starting at AED 130 for food only. Packages with house beverages and prosecco cost AED 240, while the champagne option is AED 499.

5. Beach Garden, West Bay
For an Oktoberfest celebration with a beachfront setting, Beach Garden at West Bay Abu Dhabi, Radisson Blu Abu Dhabi, is hosting three evenings of Bavarian-inspired food and entertainment.
The celebration runs from October 8 to 10, between 7pm and 11pm. Guests can expect German-inspired dishes, steins, and live entertainment in an outdoor setting beside the beach.
Prices start at AED 179, making it another option for those looking for an evening Oktoberfest experience without a traditional indoor restaurant setting.
The celebrations continue with a special Oktoberfest brunch on October 11 from 1pm to 4pm. The soft package costs AED 249, while the house package is AED 349, with a live band and DJ providing afternoon entertainment.
