He stepped into the house when his father won the lottery

Rizwan was born in the slum area of ​​Ghatkopar in Mumbai. His childhood was also spent in these slums of Mumbai. Rizwan told Forbes that his father had won a lottery. After this he shifted to a small house. He used to walk several kilometers to school with his sister. He did not get enough money to buy something from the school canteen and eat. He decided at that time that he would focus on earning money.

Started business by borrowing money from father

Rizwan borrowed 1000 rupees from his father. He bought some books in bulk and sold them to his friend at market rate. He earned some money from this. After this he also started selling milk. Later he also sold rakhis, crackers etc. When he was 16 years old, his father died. Rizwan had to leave his studies.

This is how Rizwan reached Kuwait

About two years after his father’s death, his uncle offered him a job in Kuwait. While he was earning 6 thousand rupees a month in Mumbai, his salary in Kuwait was 150 dinars (about 18 thousand rupees at that time). Rizwan says that it was like hitting a lottery for him. He started working in Kuwait. Here he was a trainee salesman. Gradually both the position and the salary increased. In 1993, he established a trading firm. After that, he never looked back.

Entered into real estate 10 years ago

According to Forbes, Rizwan entered the real estate world in 2014. He has started more than 25 residential projects in the UAE so far. Most of these are luxury projects. Among the Indians who are buying property in Dubai, there are a good number of projects related to Rizwan. Rizwan is planning to launch luxury affordable plans with a 1% payment plan every month.
