Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav assured in Abu Dhabi that efforts will be made at the central level to set up a Maharashtra Sadan in Dubai so that the Marathi people settled in the Gulf countries can come together and celebrate social programs. This initiative by Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav is setting an example of how to socialize and gather people.

A Shiv Jayanti festival was held in Abu Dhabi, Dubai with the view that the new Marathi generation settled in the Gulf countries should be introduced to history. Shiv Jayanti celebrations were organized on February 23 at BAPS Hindu Temple, Abu Dhabi in association with Inspire Event and Promotion and Indian Local Residents.
The event was presided over by Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav. Maloji Raje Shahu Chhatrapati and MP Bajrang Sonawane were present as the chief guests. Speaking on the occasion, Namdar Jadhav gave the above declaration minus the oath. This declaration was welcomed by the Marathi brothers and sisters present with shouts of ‘Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji’ and thunderous applause.

Jadhav said that Shiv Sena’s top leader Eknath Shinde was also going to attend this event. He could not attend due to his scheduled program. However, he asked me to definitely attend this event. He said that it is a matter of pride for Maharashtra and Marathi brothers that Shiv Jayanti is being celebrated in Dubai and in distant countries. The history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is glorious and inspires and motivates today’s generation.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj did some great and remarkable work for the benefit of the people during his reign. The minister said that he created the Swarajya of the raiyats and gave justice to the common people and worked to protect their interests. On this occasion, Namdar Jadhav had a heart-to-heart conversation with the Marathi people of Abu Dhabi. A large number of Marathi families from Abu Dhabi attended this program.
