Two of India’s leading playback singers Asha Bhosle and Sonu Nigam are set for a duet performance in a live show in Dubai in December. The event will be held on 29th December 2024 at the Coca-Cola Arena and the Dubai audiences will have a great chance to enjoy the best pop and folk opera masterpieces for the beginning of the New Year.
One of the top all-time rated singer, Asha Bhosle showed her enthusiasm regarding this concept and called it a fresh new experience. “It will be quite nice to perform alongside Sonu and we will definitely make new memories in Dubai which would probably be the first and last time anyway. We expect to be remembered for the good as far as the UAE audiences are concerned,” she said.
As she looked back at her musical career, she said, “She never felt any difference singing because, for her music was as natural as breathing due to the fact that her family hailed from a pedigree of singers. Now, I have reached a point when I would like the follow generation take over this art and keep performing for the public. Music is my blood, I am happy on a stage.”
Fans will be treated with strong performance of some of those famous tracks they like. The pair is going to recreate the charm of the old world Hindi film melodies. Joining them will be Zanai Bhosle, granddaughter of Asha Bhosle will grace the stage with youthful energy.

About the show, Sonu Nigam has said that he has been a follower of Asha Bhosle for several years and is looking forward the show. “I think it is a privilege to dance with a person like Asha ji. She has revolutionized the music part of our nation. I am not only looking forward to performing alongside her, I am very much looking forward to creating more of that for the UAE audience.”
Nigam also stressed on the concert’s value. He said, “This concert’s conception is to make new memories; let alone to cherish the old ones. The UAE has always been amazing; people always show love each time I am performing up in the country.
