India by the Creek: Get ready for a vibrant celebration of Indian culture in Dubai! From March 8th to 10th, the inaugural “India by the Creek” festival will take place at Al Seef Park, offering a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Indian art, music, and heritage.

This free-to-attend event, organized by Teamwork Arts in collaboration with Dubai Duty Free, the Consulate General of India, Dubai, Dubai Economy and Tourism, and Khaleej Times, aims to strengthen cultural ties between India and the UAE.

India by the Creek: Celebrating Deep-Rooted Ties

The festival marks a significant milestone in the relationship between the two nations. Satish Kumar Sivan, the Consul General of India in Dubai, emphasizes the shared values of culture, diversity, and tolerance that form the bedrock of this unique bond. He states, “This festival celebrates that spirit… This is just the beginning; many more such exchanges are in the offing.”

A Fusion of Cultures

Over the course of three days, Dubai Creek will transform into a vibrant hub of artistic collaboration. Prepare to be enthralled by a diverse range of performances featuring artists from both India and the UAE. Renowned Indian figures, including academics, writers, musicians, and bands like Indian Ocean, will be gracing the event with their presence, promising an unforgettable cultural experience.

Teamwork Arts, the festival organizers, boast a remarkable track record, having curated over 33 cultural events across 26 countries. Their extensive experience promises a well-organized and diverse program for all ages. Sanjoy K Roy, the Managing Director, envisions “India by the Creek” to become an annual highlight on Dubai’s cultural calendar.
