The countdown is officially on. In exactly 50 days, the Dubai T100 Triathlon Weekend returns from 13–15 November, with the third edition of the event moving to its new coastal home at Al Mamzar as the T100 Race to Qatar heads into its closing Middle East stretch.
Over 2,000 TRIATHLETES AND COUNTING
The field is already taking shape as one of the most international yet. Athletes from 57 nationalities have signed up, and more than a third are returning from previous editions. This builds on last year’s event at Meydan, which drew more than 3,000 triathletes and more than 15,000 spectators across the weekend.
A RACE FOR EVERYONE
For the first time, the Dubai T100 amateur programme includes a new Olympic distance triathlon (1.5km swim, 40km bike, 10km run) alongside relay options for both the Olympic and Sprint distances. Together with the Sprint (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run) and the signature 100km (2km swim, 80km bike, 18km run), the expanded programme offers a route in for everyone: first-timers taking on the Sprint, athletes stepping up over the Olympic distance, teams of friends and colleagues sharing a relay, and experienced age-groupers chasing the full 100km. Registration for all amateur races is open at www.t100triathlon.com/dubai/participate.

Sam Renouf, CEO of the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO), said: “Fifty days out, the momentum behind this year’s Dubai T100 is encouraging to see. Moving to Al Mamzar gives us a single venue for the whole weekend, and with the new Olympic distance as well as relay options the Sprint and Olympic, there has never been an easier way into the event, whatever your level. Add the world’s best female professionals racing as the T100 Race to Qatar reaches its climax, and this is shaping up to be a great weekend of swim, bike and run in Dubai.”
WOMEN TAKE CENTRE STAGE
Dubai’s professional race will be an all-female affair this November, following changes to the T100 competition format, which see the male and female professionals race four individual T100 weekends before coming together for the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final on 10–12 December. The line-up for Dubai will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Fittingly, the 50-day milestone falls during Emirati Women’s Month, which runs until 28 September and celebrates the achievements of Emirati women. To mark the occasion, Emirati women are being encouraged to sign up for this year’s event, with races to suit all abilities, from the Sprint for first-timers and the new Olympic distance, to relays shared with friends or colleagues and the full 100km.
PTO CEO Sam Renouf said, “Emirati Women’s Month is a celebration of what Emirati women achieve, and we’re proud to play our part. The Dubai T100 will feature 20 of the world’s best professional women racing around the city on a global broadcast feed, and we hope that inspires the next generation of Emirati women and girls to take on a challenge of their own. We’d love to see more Emirati women on the start line at Al Mamzar this November, as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.”
DUBAI FITNESS CHALLENGE
Race weekend once again falls within Dubai Fitness Challenge, the citywide 30×30 initiative celebrating its tenth edition in 2026 and running from 31 October to 29 November, with the T100 weekend’s mix of elite racing and open-to-all participation events sitting at the heart of it.
His Excellency Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, said: “The Dubai T100 Triathlon Weekend has become an important fixture on our sporting calendar, and its move to Al Mamzar will showcase another distinctive side of the city to audiences around the world. As part of the tenth edition of Dubai Fitness Challenge, the event captures exactly what 30×30 stands for – a world-class sport inspiring people of all ages and abilities across Dubai to get active and take on a challenge of their own.”
Spectator entry to Al Mamzar will be free across race weekend.
