Dubai Bus from Metro to Beach: New Weekend Bus Connects Metro to Al Mamzar Beach

Calling all sunseekers and sandcastle architects! Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a brand new bus from metro to beach, making weekend getaways to the popular Al Mamzar Beach even more convenient.

Starting from Friday, February 9th, the aptly named Route W20 will whisk you away from the hustle and bustle of the city, directly connecting Stadium Metro Station with the pristine shores of Al Mamzar Beach. Operating every 30 minutes from 5 pm to 11 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, this bus from metro to beach is the perfect solution for a relaxing weekend escape.

But that’s not all! The RTA is committed to streamlining your public transportation experience across the emirate. Here’s a round-up of other exciting bus route improvements:

  • Enhanced user experience: Route 11B is getting a makeover and will be renamed as Route 11.
  • Streamlined connections: Routes 16A and 16B are being combined and renamed, with Route 16 starting from Al Rashdiya Bus Station to Al Awir and Route 25 commencing from Gold Souq Bus Station to Al Rashdiya.
  • Expanded coverage: Route F62 is extending its reach to include Dubai Festival City and the Al Garhoud neighborhood, while Route C04 is set to connect with the iconic Mohammed bin Rashid Library.
  • Global Village express: Routes 103 and 106 will offer direct, non-stop services from main stations to the vibrant Global Village.
  • Sharjah connection: Route E303 is taking a new route via Al Ittihad Street to Sharjah.
  • Faster commutes: Journey time improvements are coming to 13 bus routes (5, 7, 62, 81, 110, C04, C09, E306, E307A, F12, F15, F26, and SH1), ensuring quicker trips for everyone.
