ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is to be organized in Pakistan and Dubai. Only Team India’s matches will be held in Dubai. Pakistan has the hosting of all the remaining matches, because officially Pakistan is the host of the tournament. The Indian team will not go to Pakistan, even if it travels till the final. However, Indian captain Rohit Sharma may be forced to go to Pakistan. You should also know the reason behind this, why Rohit Sharma can go to Pakistan?

Actually, Pakistan is the official host of ICC Champions Trophy 2025. If India does not reach the final, then the final of the tournament will also be held in Pakistan. All other events will be held in Pakistan, including the opening ceremony and closing ceremony. Apart from this, before every ICC event, there is a Captains Photoshoot. In such a situation, Pakistan Cricket may be adamant that the Captains Photoshoot of Champions Trophy 2025 be held in Pakistan.
If the International Cricket Council i.e. ICC accepts this demand of Pakistan Cricket Board i.e. PCB, then Rohit Sharma may have to go to Pakistan for the Captains Photoshoot as the Indian captain. He can go to Pakistan from Dubai. ICC, BCCI or Pakistan Cricket Board can arrange a special flight for him, because when the last Captains Photoshoot was held during the World Cup 2023, Babar Azam reached Ahmedabad from Hyderabad by a special charter plane.
The same can happen in Rohit Sharma’s case. However, there is no official statement from International Cricket Council (ICC), Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) or Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on this. If BCCI does not agree to this, then the photoshoot can also be held in Dubai. Even if it is a little, but there are definitely chances of Rohit Sharma going to Pakistan. Now it remains to be seen how this issue is resolved.
