Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Al-Hilal maintained their perfect start to the Saudi Pro League season with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Damac at the Kingdom Arena on Wednesday night.

The match, a thrilling five-goal encounter, saw Al-Hilal come from behind twice to secure all three points and claim the top spot in the league table.

Al-Hilal vs Damac: A Back-and-Forth Encounter

Damac started the match brightly, with Senegal forward Habib Diallo proving to be a constant threat. However, it was Al-Hilal who struck first, with Aleksandar Mitrovic heading home a cross from Mohammed Al-Qahtani in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

The visitors responded in style in the second half, with Francois Kamano and Habib Diallo scoring two quick-fire goals to take a 2-1 lead. However, Al-Hilal fought back, with Musab Al-Juwayr leveling the score with a powerful volley before Mitrovic completed the comeback with his second goal of the match.

Al-Ettifaq and Al-Wehda Also Claim Victories

In the other match of the day, Al-Ettifaq continued their impressive start to the season with a 1-0 win over Al-Okhdood. Moussa Dembele’s 63rd-minute strike sealed the victory for Steven Gerrard’s side, who have yet to concede a goal this season.

Al-Wehda also secured a win, defeating Al-Orobah 2-1 thanks to a late goal from Murad Khadhari.

Al-Hilal, Al-Ettifaq, and Al-Qadsiah currently lead the Saudi Pro League table with six points from two matches each.
