Dubai’s New Skyscrapers: Two new skyscrapers are being built in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. These buildings being built side by side will be 591 feet high. These buildings are part of a luxury project costing one billion dollars in Marassi Marina, Dubai. These twin towers will be connected by a 43 feet infinity pool on the roof. This grand project is expected to be completed in the next two years i.e. by 2027. This project is being built in partnership with real estate company Sankari and IHG Hotels and Resorts.
The name of this project is Regent Residence Dubai. It will have 63 luxury apartments. Each apartment will be on a full floor. All the apartments being built in it will have a view of Burj Khalifa and Dubai Creek. The architects have named the rooftop pool connecting these buildings as Ultra-Penthouse. Spread over 35,000 square feet, this penthouse will have six bedrooms, private gym and personal lift. Only the owner of the penthouse will be able to use it. This special pool will not be available to the residents of the rest of the apartments in the building. The rest of the apartments will be provided with private swimming terrace and 82 feet indoor lap pool.
Why is this project special?
The architectural firm Foster+ Partners, which designed this project, said that the exterior design of both the towers is inspired by flowing water. The company said in its statement, ‘The architectural design divides the building into two towers. An ultra-penthouse at the top connects both the towers and has a magnificent sky pool. Every apartment in the building has sunlight and air arrangements. Every apartment is designed in such a way that sunrise and sunset can be seen from there.
Regent Residence Dubai will have more than just luxury apartments. There will also be tennis, paddle courts, outdoor lounges, cinema halls and a virtual golf simulator. 10 water villas (floating houses on water) are also being built in this project. Lush gardens, parking, shops and restaurants are being built in the area below both the towers.

This project is part of Business Bay
These skyscrapers are part of the redevelopment of Marassi Marina in Business Bay. Business Bay is a waterfront area south of Dubai’s downtown area. The aim of this project is to make this area a center of luxury living and entertainment. It is expected to become an example of modern architecture and luxurious lifestyle in the city. It is being claimed that these new buildings will attract people more than Burj Khalifa.
