Three years of soul, and the party is only just getting started. Soul Kitchen, Dubai’s Lebanese-Latin restaurant-bar in Business Bay, is celebrating its third anniversary with two new weekly themed nights that bring fresh rhythm to the start and middle of the week.
Launching in the first week of November, Tarab Jazz arrives on Mondays from 9th November, followed by Soul of the Americas on Wednesdays from 11th November onwards. Both nights bring live music, signature cocktails, and Soul Kitchen’s distinctive cultural mix to two of the week’s most underrated evenings.

Forget the Monday blues. From 9 November, Soul Kitchen’s Mondays take on a new sound with Tarab Jazz, a live night that revisits the golden age of Arabic music and cinema. The band performs the region’s most loved melodies live on custom-made instruments, pairing the emotional pull of classic Arabic song with the spontaneity of jazz improvisation.
Guests are welcome from 8 pm for cocktails and canapés, with live music beginning at 9 pm, and the à la carte menu is available all evening. Leading the evening’s drinks offering, Soul Kitchen’s head of beverages, Alexy, has curated a dedicated arak cocktail menu that reimagines the Levant’s much-loved aniseed spirit through a contemporary cocktail lens.
Adding another layer to the evening, musician Wassim Bou Melham will join the band on a wattar, bringing an additional dimension to a night built around the meeting of tradition and improvisation.
The result is a Monday that feels a little less like the start of the working week and a little more like a reason to stay out.
From 11 November, Soul Kitchen turns its attention across the Atlantic with Soul of the Americas, a new Wednesday night led by a live band playing Latin-infused music. From Rio to Havana, live every Wednesday from 8 pm.
With a live band bringing music to the venue throughout the evening, the experience is designed to carry guests from the first course to the last drink. It is a natural extension of Soul Kitchen’s culinary identity, with their a la carte menu inspired by the Arab diaspora and the flavours, ingredients, and traditions.
Whether it’s a midweek catch-up with friends, after-work drinks with colleagues or a dinner that deserves more than the usual routine, Wednesdays offer a new reason to gather around the table.
Both nights begin at 8 pm, with cocktails and canapés served ahead of the live music at 9 pm. Dinner is available à la carte, and reservations are encouraged.
Since opening in Business Bay on 12 September 2023, Soul Kitchen has built its identity around the idea that food, music, and culture belong together. Three years on, that spirit continues to shape its weekly line-up, from the new Tarab Jazz and Soul of the Americas nights to its Big Bad Brunch every Saturday, followed by the Reunion After Party from 4 pm until closing.

The anniversary celebrations also bring the Anniversary Specials, including a menu available exclusively throughout November, featuring the shimaji tiradito, figs & burrata, carni burger, steak & truffle, and café en el campo, alongside complimentary branded Soul Kitchen coasters for guests to take home.
With two new nights joining the calendar, Soul Kitchen is celebrating not only where it has been but also what comes next: more music, more cultural discovery, and more reasons to make a night of it.
“Three years in, Soul Kitchen has become exactly what we hoped for: a place where great food and great music share the same table. Tarab Jazz on Mondays and Soul of the Americas on Wednesdays bring two different sounds into the space, but both reflect what Soul Kitchen has always been about: culture, connection, and experiences that stay with you.
“We’re grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey so far, and we’re only just getting started,” says Wassim Bou Melham, the Chief Strategy Officer of Soul Kitchen.
