The popular multicultural festival in Dubai, Global Village, is back. It has been announced that Season 30 will be open from October 15, 2025, to May 10, 2026, the 30th anniversary of the opening of the attraction and the 20th anniversary of the attraction being located in Dubailand.

Season 29 will come to a close in May 2025 with more than 10.5 million visitors, and officials indicate the 30th anniversary version is being framed as the largest and most jubilant ever—with new experiences, improved programming, and special events in the huge footprint of the park.

What to expect in Season 30
Global Village started as a few pavilions on Dubai Creek in the 90s, and it expanded to a 17.2 million sq ft attraction integrating culture, food, shopping, and entertainment for the family. The attraction last season comprised
- 30 national pavilions representing 90 cultures
- 40,000+ live shows
- About 3,500 shopping outlets
- 200+ rides and attractions
- Roughly 250 dining options
Organizers say many of these favorites will return, alongside “new surprises, exclusive programming, and enhanced visitor experiences” to mark the milestone year. Fireworks and the park’s trademark New Year countdown festivities—seven distinct countdowns across the season—are expected to make a comeback.
Tickets, prices, and who gets free entry
The organizers are yet to announce official ticket prices for Season 30 (they are typically announced a little nearer to the opening date). The current entry fee system is probably to be maintained as a guideline: weekday tickets are usually AED 25, any-day tickets are AED 30, and children under the age of 3, seniors (65 and older), and people of determination are free. Any VIP packages and all the ticketing information will be announced via the official channels of Global Village within the next few weeks.
Where and when
Global Village is located in Dubailand (Exit 37, Sheikh Zayed Road) and is closed during the summer holidays every year to prevent the hot weather. The timetable of the opening of the park and any schedules (weekend/weekday schedules) will be announced before the opening, and the visitors will have to visit the official Global Village webpage or application to get the most up-to-date information about the opening hours and schedule of the show.
Why Season 30 matters
The edition is also a big anniversary of an attraction that has grown to be symbolic of the multicultural Dubai. Besides entertainment and retail, Global Village is positioned as a cultural exchange and tourism place, which is a significant attraction to families, residents, and foreigners. Having already broken attendance records with Season 29 underway, organizers have a feeling that Season 30 will have them breaking new attendance records.

Practical tips for visitors
- To avoid long queues, purchase tickets online in advance, especially for weekends and holidays.
- Arrive early if you want to see popular shows, shop in a less crowded atmosphere, or get a good spot for the fireworks display.
- Plan your transportation: Global Village is easily accessible by car or taxi; parking is usually available. Check for any shuttle service or public transport options before your visit.
- Stay hydrated and seek shade; evenings can be cool, but you may also be standing for extended periods.
- Family-friendly amenities: Attractions for children, family rest areas, and facilities for people with special needs are generally available; check the park map upon arrival.
- Wear comfortable clothing and good walking shoes—the park is large, and there’s plenty to explore.
Looking ahead
More information, including official prices of tickets, the pavilion list, top performances, and special anniversary shows, will be announced by the organizers during the period before the opening on October 15. Season 29, by the looks of things, should be a time of long queues, full pavilions, and a full-to-the-brim calendar: it is perhaps prudent to schedule in advance and book all the must-do items way ahead. Global Village, with its 30th season, is expected to honor 30 years of culture, trade, and entertainment, and, hopefully, to bring its visitors more than ever to the event, which has become a landmark of the season in Dubai.
