Vivek Oberoi Reveals How Living in Dubai Helped His Businesses and Shares 3 Success Factors for Entrepreneurs

Bollywood actor, Vivek Oberoi known to have great acumen in business as he has got wonderful impression doing business, recently posted three pillars essential to keep in mind if one wants to be successful in the business or to start a new business. The actor, who stays most of his time in the UAE with his wife and children, also gave out the reason he decided to locate his business in the Arab nation and how they make him feel welcomed.

During a podcast with the radio channel, MensXP, Oberoi stated that in establishing a business or starting a start-up, “passion, perseverance and focus” is most valuable. He said, “It requires a lot of interest in what you are doing and should be able to continue working on something that you want to do in spite of the challenges experienced.”

“But the most important of all is focus. A day of 25 hours at work is not valued, the extent of concentration in those hours is what is valued. They should plan the right execution and to focus on that can make your business become successful. The other is do not be harsh on yourself. The fact is to extend your target, and when one accomplishes it before time, it gives a feeling of happiness.”

In the same interview, Vivek Oberoi has told about availability of the right setting to embark a business in the UAE. He said, “UAE has a soft corner for Indians and the Indians are fond of UAE too. This is not the feeling that you’re somewhere far from home. We even tease that the UAE is the best city in India. They display your national flag on Independence Day and many other occasions in various capacities. We enjoy all forms of festivals. No one bothers you and, most crucial of all, no one tries to change who you are. Every powerful men in the country including the royalties credit Indians for making the UAE what it is today. They make you feel at home.”

When asked about his business he said, “I have 400 people from 80 nationalities working with us there. It’s a great microcosm. The businessman environment that is, the ease of doing business is even greater. I love to do business there. They have been kind to me and my brother Ankur as well. We are still having a lot of new features on this platform soon we are going to make a big announcement.”

Vivek Oberoi over the years has been trying his hand in fields related to real estate, technology and the jewellery business. He has also a start-up which is dealing in financing of education fees. The actor also has ownership in Solitario the diamond company it has over 18 retail outlets across India. According to the sources, he has a grand total of INR 1200 crore in net asset value.
