Sugababes to Headline Saturday Night at Emirates Dubai 7s Festival 2024

Fasten your seat belts and embrace the early 2000 pop feeling as the Sugababes have been announced as the headliner for the Emirates Dubai 7s Festival on Saturday, November 30th, 2024. Having previously graced the Rugby Rocks stage, British girl group Push the Button band will be performing in encore featuring favourites such as “Push the Button,” “Round Round,” “Freak Like Me,” and “Too Lost in You.”

The group of young females known as the Sugababes were created in 1998 and include Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena, and Siobhan Donaghy; through the years they have reached great heights with six No. 1 hit singles and multi-platinum albums to their credit. Since re-forming, they have attracted the largest ever audiences at pop events including Glastonbury and carry on enjoying spectacular success while attracting new audiences with both old and new songs.

The Emirates Dubai 7s festival will host one of the notable performances from the schedules musical artists for the three days festival. People who can attend on Sunday can also watch Stormzy who will perform on 1st December on the last day of the festival. Anyone with a Saturday-only pass can easily purchase a weekend package and enjoy both headliners courtesy of the Dubai 7s app.

Speaking about the latest addition to the lineup, Emirates Dubai 7s Festival Director Mathew Tait said: Incorporation of Sugababes in the list of entertainers at our festival is one of the ways that define the entertainment credentials of Emirates Dubai 7s. This group shares energy as Rugby Rocks stage performance on saturday night is going to be popular; We invite such a marvellous musical event along with the sports events popularity. The event planned for this year will definitely be a Sport, Music and Family funfair.”

A Weekend of Sport and Music for All

Apart from rugby, Emirates Dubai 7s festival promises to entertain visitors by offering over 200teams to compete in Cricket, Netball, Padel, and several fun activities for kids and families will be conducted. Featuring Rugby Rocks, Beats on 2, and Frequency on 8, the weekend of music is filled with live performances by renowned artists and disk jockeys from around the globe. The festival begins on Friday the 29th of November with entrance for families for free that will be providing activities for kids and a wonderful way to start the weekend prior to the UAE National day public holiday on Monday, December 2nd.

Tickets and VIP Experiences

Normal working day tickets can be purchased at a price of AED 425 while the weekend tickets are sold at AED 550 for the entire weekend. For those in search of the superior experience, the new Sunroom hosts VIP packages of hospitality with the optional pitch 1 view, extended gourmet food and drinks, and two days of ‘everything included’. This is an ideal place for the groups of corporate people or corporate teams to watch the sporting activities and also to thrill with the performances.
