Get ready, Dubai! British grime artist and rapper Stormzy makes his much-awaited come back to Dubai performing in Emirates Dubai 7s 2024 on Sunday, 1st December. This will probably be the rapper’s first live show in Dubai as of 2020, to his excitement fans should look forward to a magnificent performance at The Sevens Stadium.
He was featured in hit songs such as Big for Your Boots, Shut Up and Vossi Bop, will be performing on the Frequency on 8 stage. His energetic dance moves and terrific songs have earned him one of the highest statuses among the UK pop-music idols. The announcement was actually posted on social media through a series of hints which included riddles. Touches were made through pictures of London’s Big Ben, the Manchester United football stadium and a silver/envelope. The Emirates Dubai 7s 2024 promises to be the biggest event of the tournament, taking place from November 29 to December 2. This holiday is timed to coincide with the UAE National Day, so one can hardly be surprised that the organisers of the event have pledged to headline the music acts for both Saturday and Sunday nights.
More than 5000 athletes will take part in the event by performing in rugby, netball, padel, cricket, fitness, and other kinds of sports; therefore, the upcoming weekend will be one of the brightest in sports in the Middle East. Friday general admission is free, while Saturday and Sunday ticket costs are Dhs425 per a person. There is also a full weekend pass for Dhs550.
Families can take advantage of special packages, including a weekend family pass for two adults and two children will cost Dhs1,064. A weekend pass for kid aged between 10 and 14 costs Dhs115 while those of aged between 4 and 9 costs only Dhs 40.
