India won the fifth and final Test played at the Oval by six runs. India had set a target of 374 runs. In response, the English team collapsed for 367 runs. England needed 35 runs to win on the fifth day and India needed four wickets. Siraj took five wickets in the innings, while Prasidh Krishna got four wickets. Akash Deep took one wicket. With this, the five-match Test series ended in a 2-2 draw. It is a historic performance by a young team led by Shubman Gill. No cricket pundits had named India as favourites before this tour. However, Gill’s young team silenced all the critics and drew the series 2-2.

India had scored 224 runs in the first innings. In response, England’s first innings ended at 247 runs and the English team took a lead of 23 runs. India scored 396 runs in their second innings and took a total lead of 373 runs and set a target of 374 runs. In response, England’s second innings ended at 367 runs. Joe Root’s 105 runs and Harry Brook’s 111 runs could not save England from losing. As soon as Siraj clean bowled Atkinson with a yorker as the last wicket, the happiness of Indian fans and players knew no bounds. Siraj ran and the Indian players rushed to hug him.

Mohammad Siraj and Prasidh Krishna snatched victory from England. After that India hoisted the flag at the Oval and drew the series. Indian Bowlers became Heroes
On the fifth day, England started the day with 339 runs for the loss of six wickets. Mohammad Siraj brought India into the match by dismissing Jamie Smith to wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel. He was out after scoring two runs. Siraj then took the eighth wicket of England by making Jamie Overton his victim. He scored nine runs. Krishna then bowled Josh Tongue without opening the account and took the ninth wicket of England.
Harry Brook had pushed India on the back foot by playing a stormy innings. India would have got his wicket earlier, but after Mohammad Siraj took his catch at fine leg on the ball of Prasidh Krishna, his foot touched the boundary. This proved to be the turning point of this match for India and then Brook scored a century by scoring runs at a stormy pace. He scored 111 runs with the help of 14 fours and two sixes in 98 balls.

Former England captain Joe Root supported him. Both of them together made a partnership of 195 runs for the fourth wicket. Root scored the 39th century of his Test career. He faced 152 balls and scored 105 runs with the help of 12 fours. The hard work of both of them was wasted by the Indian bowlers on the fifth day, as England lost the Test match by a small margin of 6 runs.
India played the first innings of this match and scored 224 runs. England’s batters did not do much against the Indian bowlers in the first innings and the entire team was all out for 247 runs. In their second innings, India scored 396 runs on the basis of Yashasvi Jaiswal’s 118, Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar’s 53-53 runs and gave England a strong score which they could not achieve.
