Gulf Cricket T20I Championship 2024: Teams, Squad, Schedule, Live Streaming and More

The Gulf Cricket T20I Championship features six teams namely Bahrain, UAE Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. The tournament will feature 15 league matches and teams will clash against each other once. The final of the Gulf Cricket T20I Championship 2024 will take place on December 21. The tournament aims to level up the competitiveness of cricket in the Gulf region.

United Arab Emirates has emerged to be a centre point of some new cricket teams in the world. The country has taken the sport seriously by hosting some of the he biggest cricket tournaments in the world. It has gone to another level this year as the UAE is now hosting Gulf Cricket T20i Championship.

The tournament is organized by the International League T20, while Emirates Cricket Board will be administrating the event. The Gulf Cricket T20i Championship is set to start on 13th December with United Arab Emirates facing Bahrain in the first match. While Kuwait and Saudi Arabia will also clash on the same day in the second match of the tournament.

This is going to be the 2nd edition of the tournament. The first edition took place in 2023 and it was won by Oman. Oman defeated the United Arab Emirates in the final game and won the trophy. The tournament involves a total of 6 teams from the Gulf region. The league stage will take place in round robin format and in the end, there will be a final to decide the winner of the tournament.

All the league stage matches will be played at the ICC Academy Ground, while the final match will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
