Dubai Airshow 2025 will also create aviation history when electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft pilot the skies for the very first time, providing a live demonstration of the technology currently defining the next generation of air mobility.

It is set to be the biggest show ever in the history of the show, with more than 200 aircraft on display, both flying and non-flying, including commercial and military jets, UAVs, business aircraft, and the latest in aviation technology.
A Spotlight on Advanced Air Mobility (AAM)
The introduction of eVTOLs is to be seen as a turning point for the Dubai Airshow, as Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) is now at the center of the 2025 program. Exhibitors and pioneers in the industry will discuss the progress in infrastructure, certification, and regulation, further bringing the world near to the introduction of electric and hybrid air transport commercially.
This milestone was marked by Tim Hawes, the Managing Director of Informa Markets, who stated that this was not a showcase of the aircraft but rather a show of what is possible when vision, technology, and partnership become one. He concluded, Dubai Airshow 2025 will be the future of the industry and reestablish Dubai as a home to the next generation of aviation.
New Aircraft Set to Make Regional Debuts
Coupled with eVTOLs, several high-profile aircraft will debut in the Middle East at the show. Significantly, the C919 and C929 by COMAC are going to debut in this region, which will be an indicator of the increasing competition and diversification in the manufacturing of aviation products crewed by the global market.
The Embraer KC-390 Millennium will also be available once again in the row of placards, demonstrating its multi-purpose capabilities and the opportunity to operate in various modes, and it is also possible to see the Airbus A350-1000 and Boeing 777 9, which are the representatives of the air industry of the 21st century.
Dubai: The Hub of Future Aviation
Dubai Airshow 2025, with the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, will keep the state of Dubai at the forefront of aerospace innovation.
Over 1,500 exhibitors, 490 delegations, and 350 speakers representing over 98 countries will gather at this year’s edition to exchange the latest ideas and come together around the most innovative concepts in the sphere of aviation.

As eVTOLs take flight in the skies, the event highlights the idea of sustainability, innovation, and the future of mobility in Dubai, which can continue to demonstrate that the skyline is not only soaring higher but also flying in new, electric directions.
