A City-Wide Fitness Celebration
The Dubai Run is an annual event that turns Sheikh Zayed Road into a running track that is lively and open-air, which is an experience never to be had before. Riders will also have an experience of a breathtaking path that makes stops at the landmarks of the city, such as the Museum of the Future, the Emirates Towers, the Dubai Opera, and the Burj Khalifa, with the dazzling skyline of Dubai in the background. The event encompasses both the families carrying strollers and the experienced marathoners, but it is the atmosphere of inclusiveness, fitness, and community that makes the Dubai Fitness Challenge what it is.
Start Time and Routes
The race starts early morning at 6.30 am and has two scenic routes of varying degrees of fitness:
- 10km Route: Begins at the area of the Museum of the Future and ends at The Gate Building, DIFC. An ideal fit for runners with experience to use the course as a challenge.
- 5km Route: The route starts at the same point and finishes at the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard at Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. This is an easy trail that is shorter than usual and suitable to both beginners and informal pedestrians.
