Dubai and Abu Dhabi authorities have announced free public parking on three days during the UAE National Day celebrations, which can be seen as an assurance that residents and visitors across the UAE will enjoy hassle-free travel during the event. The event helps in the easy transit and celebrity involvement throughout the extended Eid Al Etihad weekend.

3-Day Free Parking in Dubai
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai announced that free public parking will be provided during the weekend from Sunday, November 30, to Tuesday, December 2. Routine charges will go back on Wednesday, December 3.
However, the exemption does not apply to:
- Multi-storey car parks
- Al Khail Gate paid zone (N-365)

Extended Metro & Tram Timings in Dubai
The RTA has also projected to ensure that the Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram will be able to serve more commuters by making them extend their working hours:
Dubai Metro
- Saturday, Nov 29: 5 am – 1 am next day
- Sunday, Nov 30: 8 am – 1 am next day
- Monday & Tuesday, Dec 1–2: 5 am – 1 am next day
Dubai Tram
- Saturday, Nov 29: 6 am – 1 am
- Sunday, Nov 30: 9 am – 1 am
- Monday & Tuesday, Dec 1–2: 6 am – 1 am
RTA urged commuters to consult real-time schedules of public buses and marine transport on the S’hail app because of the anticipated changes during the holiday.
All RTA Customer Happiness Centres will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, with smart centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Twar, and RTA Headquarters open 24/7.

Abu Dhabi Adds Toll Exemptions
Abu Dhabi has also introduced three days of free parking beginning Sunday, November 30. Moreover, free Darb toll gates will be in the same period.
Q Mobility announced that normal charges will be restored on Wednesday, December 3, as far as both parking and tolls are concerned.
As the nation celebrates its 54th Eid Al Etihad, large crowds are expected at the National Day celebrations in all the Emirates, and these special transport arrangements will help to make travel more enjoyable.
