Parking Dispute in Dubai: A case came to light from the Tecom area of Dubai, where two people had a fierce fight over parking space and it turned into violence in no time. This dispute over parking took place between an Indian and a Pakistani citizen, after which legal action was taken against the Pakistani citizen. The surprising thing is that this case is of last year, i.e. 8 February 2023.
This incident involved a 70-year-old Pakistani man and a 34-year-old Indian citizen. Both lived in the same building. The fight between the two started when the Pakistani man claimed the parking space where the Indian citizen wanted to park his car. Due to this, a fierce fight started between the two and in the end the Pakistani man pushed the Indian man to the ground.
The Pakistani man pushed Indian citizen, causing a fracture of his tibia bone. After this, when the medical report came out, it was found that the Indian citizen’s nerves were damaged, muscles were strained and 50 percent of his legs stopped working. However, in retaliation, the Indian man hit the Pakistani man on the head, causing injuries to him and he was unable to work for about 20 days.
After this entire incident, the authorities intervened in the case and took both of them into custody. After this, the case reached the Dubai Criminal Court, where forensic evidence and witness testimony, including statements of the injured persons and the investigator present at the spot, were presented in the court. In the court, the Pakistani man admitted to pushing the Indian man, but also claimed that he was provoked to do so.
After hearing the evidence and witnesses in the entire case, the court found the Pakistani man guilty of physical attack and causing permanent disability. The Pakistani man was jailed for three months and then deported. The charges against the Indian man were considered less serious and were transferred for further proceedings.

As a result, the Pakistani man was sentenced to three months in jail and was deported from the country after completion of the sentence. At the same time, the charges against the Indian citizen were considered less serious. For in-depth investigation of the case, it was transferred for further proceedings. This incident once again highlighted the importance of following the rules and the right way to resolve mutual disputes in Dubai.
